FRIENDS OF SHASTA COUNTY LIBRARIES (FOSCL) BOOKSTORE

HOURS:

Monday – Thursday:   10AM-6PM

Friday and Saturday:  10AM-5:30PM

Sundays:                     1PM-4PM

Members of FOSCL receive a 10% discount on all purchases when they notify the clerk they are members.

All income from our bookstore is used to buy new books and other materials for our library.  Currently we are funding the purchase of books for the “Hot Off the Press” shelves in the library.  These very popular books cannot be reserved and are available to all library patrons on a first-come first-serve basis.

Donating books:

The Friends group is always glad to receive your book donations.  You can bring these books in at any time our bookstore is open.  If you have a large quantity of books to donate (more than one box, for instance), it is best to give us a call at our bookstore – 245-7265 – and we will meet you at the library’s “receiving” door on the west side of the building.   Note that we cannot accept magazines, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest Condensed Books, phonograph albums – or any books that are soiled or damaged in any way (wet, or missing pages, or “buggy” or moldy).  Books must be clean.

We DO accept CDs, DVDs, VHS and audio cassettes.
